As the subscribers amongst you should have seen by now, the May issue of Retail Jeweller is the first in our new format. (If you are not a subscriber, then you should be so sign up now - that’s an order!)
We think the magazine has been moving in the right direction recently, with a more modern design style while still bringing readers the editorial that matters, but at the end of the day we produce our magazine for you readers, so please let us know your feedback.
Good or bad, it’s all helpful to hear, so please leave your comments below.

I have to email to let you know how much I dislike the new format of Retail Jeweller and that I find the style of graphic design particularly unsympathetic to the subject.
I am considering cancelling my subscription if the next issue is no improvement.

The new look RJ was a so easy to read with its clear and clean layout and uncluttered pages.
It felt fresh and relevant.
Welcome back!

Think the new design is great and doesn’t lose the quality look and feel.

What a retrograde step. The ‘with serif’ typeface font is extraordinarily old fashioned and at only 48 pages, and a cover price of £6.95, I agree with Joanne Gowan, and shall also consider cancelling my subscription.
Having subscribed since the original ‘Retail Jeweller’ through the years of ‘RJ’ and recently back to ‘Retail Jeweller’ again, I am now inclined to think you have lost your way.

Frances, All businesses have to evolve and it is always a shame to hear/read negative comments based on a snap shot. I have to say that this months issue was a quick read!! but that said I do like the new design and layout, it is clean, modern and the contents are relevent.

Frances, you can’t please everyone…!
I like it, its modern, clean and stylish. I think the magazine combined with the website etc is a cohesive whole package.
While the magazine is thinner this issue - so is every other magazine and thats due to the downturn in advertising which supports the size of the magazine - so not too much you can do there !
i like the repositioning - it makes a statement ! I also think the magazine has a younger feel about it - which makes sense as the market is changing…!
