Builders trade body predicts 90,000 more redundancies
The Federation of Master Builders has said that the construction industry could see 90,000 people made redundant in the first half of 2009.
The body has polled its members on redundancies, finding that over half of its members are set to make people redundant in the first half of 2009.

David Fison is appointed Osborne chief executive
UK contractor Osborne has named David Fison, ex boss of Skanska, as its new chief executive.
He was CEO of Skanska from 2002 until July 2008 and has previously held senior management positions at Balfour Beatty.
