A report released this week by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IME) proposes a future filled with artificial trees and algae tubes on buildings to buy time on reducing C02 emissions.

The Prince’s Foundation has partnered with Oxford University’s Department of Continuing Education to offer a part-time course in sustainable cities which will enroll its first students in September 2010. The MSc in Sustainable Urban Development is directed at construction professionals, including architects, engineers, planners and developers.
