Dyson is everywhere
I’ve had an unusually frenetic month of May with lots of train travel: to Moreton on the Marsh to see England’s first certified Passivhaus, Cumbria GreenBuild in Penrith, the Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth, North Wales to see the WISE building which opens next week and finally Swindon for Kevin McLoud’s green housing.
The first leg of the CAT journey from Marylebone through to Shrewsbury was on a beautiful German-designed train. All second class seating is arranged in fours around tables with power sockets by every seat and free wifi (intermittent though it was). There was even a Dyson hand dryer in the loo. Why can’t all trains be like this?
Last week when I was rushing through Paddington on my way to Swindon, I came upon a Dyson stand promoting the new fan with a prize draw. The stand will be in Victoria later in the summer.
Maybe I’ll even win a fan.
Dyson has always taken a prominent stand at the entrance to Ecobuild in Earl’s Court. Wonder where they’ll be at ExCel?
