I am in the departure lounge for UAE’s 6 year-old Etihad Airlines with free wifi. My stay in Abu Dhabi concluded with a dinner with 7 Fosters’ architects in the rooftop bar of Asymptope’s hotel on Yas Island - soon to be home to Ferrari World.

The news from Copenhagen was indeed depressing and the recriminations about who was to blame only compound the sense of failure. The question remaining is “Okay, what now?”
For me the answer to this is clear. The UK led the world into the carbon age and we have all the right skills to lead the world out of the carbon age.
