It’s been a while since my last update, but I can assure you things have definitely not been quiet at Interbuild. Things are shaping up very well for this year’s event, so here’s just an overview of what’s been happening…
We held another of our exhibitor roadshows on Friday, focusing on the new Sustainability Street feature, and offsite zone at the event this year. There was a great turn out of manufacturers, all keen to hear about how they could get involved in the show.
The response so far to the Street has been fantastic, with 11 different buildings now confirmed, all fitted with a really diverse range of new products and installations. Its now looking quite impressive, with Satellite Architects coming on board to help design and landscape the overall layout, so it really will have the look and feel of a living and bustling street.
Copies of Friday’s roadshow presentation, along with a delegate list are available - please email amy.figgins@emap.com if you would like to be sent a copy.
The keynote address for the Construction Forum is now confirmed. Eamonn Boylan, Deputy Chief Executive of the Homes & Communities Agency will be giving an essential outline on the Government’s residential construction timeline and investment priorities. We’ve also got some really fascinating insights from major clients across the industry including the Department of Health, Birmingham City Council, Network Rail, Galliford Try and Kier.
Over in Interbuild Onsite, its great to see Ford making a return, with their Football Challenge. Fancy yourself as an expert penalty taker? Take the challenge and find out - you could win Uefa Champions League tickets! Whilst over in Glassex, we’re really delighted that Ultraframe are making a return to the show, and benefiting from the co-location with Interbuild.
Well, only 8 weeks to go now, but still worth checking out the Interbuild website now, and starting to have a think about which of the seminars and exhibitors you want to see. Also don’t forget, when you register in advance you’ll save the £20 entry fee - www.interbuild.com
