Ana De Costa’s Mystical Tarot

Ana De Costa introduces her first fine jewellery collection since receiving high acclaim for ‘Cusp’, her St Martins graduation collection in 2005.  Her new designs, entitled ‘Mystical Tarot’, have been inspired by a rare and special deck of tarot cards, introducing a design concept given Ana by a dear friend, who has been an inspiration [...]

Spring Fair: So what was your favourite?

So now that we’ve had a bit of time to rest and recuperate from the success that was Spring Fair I’m starting to think about the products and exhibitors that I really loved. I was very happy to see my trend prediction of meerkat’s was spot on, photos and video below:

Acorns darling, everyone’s talking about them!

Word on the street is that acorns are going to making a big hit this Autumn. Expect to see them largely in the form of Jewellery. We’ve spotted some on the recent Chanel catwalks already. WGSN were spot on! Check some fine pieces out here http://www.vandashop.com/product.php?xProd=2749&xSec=65&navlock=1

Autumn Fair Day 3

Wow – where have the last few days gone?! Sorry I missed the update yesterday. I’ve been talking with exhibitors about their show experiences and visitors about theirs, updating our thriving Twitter followers (see what they’re saying about us here), stocking up the dwindling press releases, spotting more amazing products and finally finishing it off [...]

So hot right now!

One of the things I love about Spring Fair is the fact that I get a sneak peak at what’s going to be on the shelves in the coming year. One of my favourite Jewellery exhibitors, new to Spring Fair in 2009, were Spinning Jewellery. Their stacking rings were so gorgeous and had us all [...]

Totally loving: Oliver Bonas

Unfortunately for my boyfriend and wallet, but definitely fortunately for me, I live 2 minutes from an Oliver Bonas shop. I, like so many others it seems, totally love the place! Everything in there is amazing, I want it all! From the earings (wearing right now) to the dresses (all of them), to the baby [...]

Totally loving: Poken

I love it when someone comes up with a product that really does something useful and is combined with brilliant design. I have to say I think this product fits the bill. Poken is a new device which lets you bridge the gap between online social networking and real life social networking, as in that [...]

It’s cute, it sells, I love it!

Shop is a bit partial to all things cute (I’ve got a wardrobe full of teddies) and I’ve become addicted to My Blue Nose Friends, a collectable range of plush from Carte Blanche Greetings. There are 22 characters in the range with 4 more added every couple of months - and apparently they’re so popular [...]

Happy Red Nose Day!

As if you didn’t know already, it’s Red Nose Day today! Comic Relief have done another sterling job of raising awareness for the charity supporting a range of causes across the UK and Africa. The Mt. Kilimanjaro climb has been a massive boost this year, with top celebs doing their bit for Charity. Is it [...]

Wash he on about?

I’m still grappling with another of the psychological conundrums that Pope Benedict (or the Vatican, at least) seems to enjoy presenting us with. The latest brainwave of the one who should know best is that the WASHING MACHINE has done more for women’s liberation than, amongst other things, the right to work. The unusual viewpoint [...]
