Tesco joins up with Unilever

Sainsbury buys 24 stores from Co-op
I just read o the Retail Week site that Sainsbury’s has bought 24 stores from the Co-op for £83m, including 22 Somerfield stores. (The Co-op recently acquired Somerfield for £1.7bn). Five stores will become Sainsbury Locals and openings are set to start in the second half of this year.
